Pets Belonging to Flood Victims in Tebet Receive Health Services

Officers provide vaccination services and health checks

The South Jakarta Maritime, Agricultural and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency, provided free health services to residents' pets who had been affected by the flood, on Thursday (2/25).

According to Kusniati Oldilia, Division Head of Livestock and Animal Health, it had been noted that there were 16 domesticated cats from RW 02, Kebon Baru Uarban Village, whose health was checked.

"Officers provide vaccination services and health checks," she expressed.

Of the 16 cats, she explained, 11 were injected with the rabies vaccine, 3 were injected with skin medications, because of scabies (skin disease) symptoms and 2 were injected with vitamins, because of wasting and high temperature.

"The services we provide are free," he stated.
